A discussion meeting and prayer mahfil was held on the occasion of celebrating the holy Eid-e-Mila Dunnabi (SM) at District Government Public Library, Jhalokathi.

The greatest human being of all time, Prophet Muhammad (SM) was born on this day in 570 A.D. as a guide of light in the noble Quraish clan of Makkah city. He went to the afterlife on the same day. To commemorate this special day and try to learn about the life style, work and teachings of the beloved Prophet (SM), a discussion meeting and doa mahfil was organized by District Govt. Public Library, Jhalokathi today on September 16, 2024 (12th Rabiul Awal, 1446 Hijri). Public library librarian Mr. Shekh Rubel participated in the discussion meeting under the chairmanship of Maolana Md. Imdadul Haque, Khatib 2nd city Jame Masjid, Hafez Maolana Md. Imran Hossain, Director, Darul Quran Noorani and Hafez Madrasa. Also, other officials and readers of the public library were present in the discussion meeting and prayer meeting. Speakers in the meeting said - The Prophet (SM) left his biography and holy book "Al-Qur'an" for the liberation of the people of the world. As long as the people of the world cling to these two things, they will not go astray. Therefore, along with the observance of this day, Muslims must follow the path described in the holy book "Al-Qur'an" and the life of Prophet Muhammad (SM).
