Today 20th August 2024 A.D., daily-Tuesday, District Government Public Library, a discussion meeting was held at the public library office with the elite people of Jhalkathi regarding the overall development of Jhalkathi. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Sheikh Rubel, librarian of the public library, poet, writer and researcher Mr. Md. Al Amin Baklai, former president of Jhalkathi District Press Club and valiant freedom fighter Mr. Chitta Ranjan Dutta, valiant freedom fighter Mr. Md. Ruhul Amin, former professor of Rajapur Government Degree College participated in the discussion. Dr. Kamrunnesa Azad, BTV Jhalkathi District Representative Mr. Jannatin Naeem Deep, Jhalkathi District Prothom Alo Patrika Mr. AS Mahmudur Rahman, BTCL Ex-Official Mr. Md. Motiar Rahman, Retired Head Teacher Mr. Mojibur Rahman, Narayan Mistry Library Founder Mr. Narayan Mistry and readers. The present guests gave various directions and suggestions for the development of the district government public library and also promised to provide overall support for the development of the library.
